I attended a conference on 24th June (Apero Business Conference), and one of the speakers said:
โAnyone with access to the internet, a mobile phone, and a healthy brain is not supposed to be poor, regardless of geographical location.โ At that very moment, a light bulb went on in my head.
This speaker is right! We live in unprecedented opportunity, with access to more information and resources than ever. There is no excuse for us to be poor.
So, if you’re stuck in poverty, in a 9 โ 5 job, and your salary doesnโt even take you to the middle of the month, I encourage you to act.
You can start by carrying out an inventory of your skills and knowledge. What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing?
Once you know what you have to offer, start looking for ways to make your skills marketable.
There are endless possibilities, from starting your own business to freelancing to finding a remote job. The important thing is to take the first step. Don’t let poverty define you. You are capable of more than you think. Believe in yourself. You can do this!
